Georgie Currie is an Albury bred singer-songwriter bringing her debut EP ‘flowers for your worst days’ to Bendigo.
Georgie is no stranger to Bendigo after having visited the town and the Bendigo Blues and Roots Festival many a time with ten-piece folk/rock band The Northern Folk.
Georgie’s solo project is an entirely different beast. Her songs blend the broken, intimate fears of youth with a vocal intensity beyond her years. Lyrically and harmonically mature, she paints portraits remarkable as much for their emotional power as their vulnerability.
