A fun time will be had on our July 2017 Tram, as the rising young powerhouse from Yackanadandah Richard Perso makes his Blues Tram debut and a rag-tag ragtime ensemble makes it’s long awaited return to the rails: Alawishus Jones & The Outright Lies;

Enjoy the sights of Bendigo’s architecturally stunning CBD from on board the sensationally restored vintage W Class tram, while being suitably entertained by these two great acts:

Richard Perso:
The one man excitement machine, Richard Perso has developed a delivery blending multiple genres fused into a folky rocking roots and blues. Perso doesn’t seem to have enough arms, legs or lungs to pull off such a physically demanding performance but that doesn’t stop him from playing 3 didgeridoos, driving a weapons cache of 3 overdriven acoustic guitars and replacing the drummer with little more than his 2 feet.

Alawishus Jones & The Outright Lies:
A humorous and informative approach to the story and meaning behind the blues which celebrates the souls who created this music, commemorates their struggle and honors their legacy. “Time travelers Alawishus, Wilby & Cleitus will take you back in time, tell you stories about the old days and sing you some authentic rural blues, ragged tunes, maybe even some old time spirituals.” – Americana/pre war blues
