Mark Smith & Marni Sheehan play rootsy blues, alt and vintage country, and originals featuring acoustic, dobro and electric guitars, mandolin, banjo and percussion. Their experience as performing musicians brings authenticity and depth to the material. Audiences enjoy the sparkle, humour and occasional dark moment this act offers. Mark Smith has played in the Oz music scene for over 40 years and has a great love and talent as a blues player. Marni Sheehan’s musical background spans folk, blues, country music, rock and as a songwriter. She has released two albums of original songs Critters & Specimens (2004) and Inside Stories (2007). In 2015 Mark and Marni teamed up with Dave Sheehan and released an album - ‘Down in the Valley’, a collection of songs dealing with love, hate, sex, death, injustice and survival.
