Our festival is driven by an army of enthusiastic volunteers who make it all happen; not only over the annual four day festival weekend, but also in the weeks and months leading up to the event and our fundraising events throughout the year. Thank you to all past volunteers for your wonderful support!

We are always looking for more helpers, if you would like to volunteer for the festival weekend or one of our events throughout the year, please complete the form below and we will get in touch with you.

Why volunteer?

Volunteering for Bendigo Blues & Roots Music Festival gives you the chance to contribute to, and be an integral part of, the success of one of Bendigo’s biggest cultural events. Along with the satisfaction of knowing this, you also get to be part of a great team! Volunteering also gives you the opportunity to learn new skills in a fun environment where you get to work with like-minded individuals, all in a grassroots festival community.

Who can volunteer?

Volunteers in most areas must be over 18 years of age. Minimum qualifications are a smile and good sense of humour! Commitment to getting the job done, proactivity, initiative and enthusiasm to muck in at a moment’s notice are also greatly appreciated qualities.

Parents of children over 14 are invited to contact us to enquire about the limited number of volunteer positions available for young people.
